Midwinter Stonehenge Bamboo Rangoon 2.5 qt Round Covered Casserole Serving Bowl

Here’s a hard to find 2 1/2″ quart round covered casserole by Midwinter Ltd, Stonehenge, of England. This pattern is called “Rangoon” and was manufactured from 1979 to 1986. Rangoon features a yellow and green bamboo pattern on a brown speckled ivory body with brown trim.
The base, bowl, measures 7 1/8″ diameter and 4 1/4″ tall at the rim. Note the area on the base rim I’ve shown from three angles. It is smooth and glaze free. I don’t know if it’s a chip or a manufacturing flaw but it’s noteworthy. Also note, from the top, that the knob looks stained. Inside the lid is unglazed in a spot under the knob. I assume that’s where the stain soaked through to the knob.  Otherwise, the lid and bowl are in great shape with no chips, cracks or crazing.

If you live on the west coast please allow that transit time and costs will be more than average from Florida.
